From the W&M website:
Founded in 2003, Tribe Sailing is a student-run club sports team at the College of William and Mary. We are a competitive member of the Mid-Atlantic Intercollegiate Sailing Association (MAISA) division. We compete against both club and varsity teams in our region, which extends from the southern VA border up through New York State along the eastern seaboard.
We are one of the largest club sports on campus, with around 70 undergraduate members. We hold practice Monday through Friday from 2:30 pm to 6 pm out of the First Colony Marina on the James River. Our fleet consists of 12 Flying Juniors (FJs) and 3 motorboats.
On the weekends we have team events and compete in regattas along the east coast in the MAISA division. We usually compete in 6 to 8 regattas each semester. We are currently ranked as the 28th team out of over 50 teams in the MAISA division (including club and varsity teams).
As a club, we welcome all who love sailing and anyone interested in learning!! Don't worry if you don't know a mainsheet from a mizzenmast; if you want to learn, we want to teach you. We also welcome the chance to talk to you, either in person or via email.
