Williamsburg Unitarian Universalists will start construction of a major expansion and renovation of its facilities on Ironbound Road with groundbreaking ceremonies Sunday morning, September 20. At both worship services - at 9:15 and 11:15 - members and friends will mark the start of the first building project since the sanctuary was completed in 1995. It will draw religious education and administrative spaces, now housed in outlying buildings, together under one roof with the worship space. The project follows a successful capital campaign completed earlier this year.
