Free throw competition for Williamsburg-area boys, girls on Feb. 20

Happy New Year! My name is James Hubbard and I'm the Youth Director for the local Knights of Columbus council.

We are a non-profit organization and the below community event is strictly for the kids of our area - and its free!

The Knights of Columbus of Council 6828 are hosting their annual Basketball Free Throw Competition, starting at 12 p.m. at Walsingham Academy (Chismer gym) on Saturday, February 20, 2016!

Awards for each age group (9-14) both boys and girls.

Both a Council and District level event. There will be pick up games in between competitions.

The Pastor of St Bede, Monsignor Keeney, will make a short prayer invocation after the Knights Color Guard opens the event.

Boys and girls ages 9-14 from our local area are all invited to compete. Parents and children do not have to be a member of St Bede, or a Knights of Columbus, in order to compete - it is open to ALL and FREE - so come join us and shoot some hoops!!!

No pre-registration, just sign up when you arrive - come and drain some free throws.
