Youth Day & Graduate Recognition, Youth Revival at St. John

The annual Youth Day & Recognition of Graduates service at St. John Baptist Church will begin at 11 a.m. Sunday, June 26. Minister Leo Harrington will be guest preacher, and Youth4Christ will provide musical selections. Harrington is an associate minister at Spirit of Faith Christian Center in Brandywine, Md. Graduates for 2016 will be recognized, as will youths for their academic accolades, the St. John Scholarship will be awarded and a special scholarship offering will be lifted. A reception will follow the service. Sunday school starts at 9:15 a.m. The lesson is entitled, "Ignoring God's Plain Truth," from Romans 1:18-23 and 28-32.
Youth Revival will be held Monday, June 27, through Wednesday, June 29. Prayer & Praise starts at 6:30 p.m., followed by revival at 7. Harrington will also serve as revivalist. Music will be provided by Youth4Christ (Monday), Little Zion Youth Choir (Tuesday) and Mt. Pleasant Youth Choir (Wednesday). St. John is at 1397 Penniman Rd., where everyone is welcome.
