An Isle of Wight County Schools bus was involved in an accident Friday afternoon.
The accident occurred at noon on Route 258, said spokeswoman Lynn Briggs.
A pick-up truck rear-ended the bus, which was carrying students from Smithfield Middle School and Smithfield High School, as it was turning onto Waterworks Road.
Two students and the bus driver reported minor injuries and were transported for further evaluation, Briggs said.
A substitute bus and driver will be provided to complete the run.
