Here’s your Mother’s Day present — a break in the rain.
The Mother’s Day forecast calls for sunshine (well, a few clouds here and there) and a high temperature of about 77. A noticeable breeze out of the northwest is supposed to trail off as the day progresses.
There’s the good news. Get out and enjoy it while you can — take Mom out for a picnic.
Because….
After an overnight low in the mid-50s, clouds return on Monday. It’ll be reasonably warm — a high in the mid-70s — but the chance of rain rises to about 30 percent Monday evening.
And it keeps rising. In fact, the forecast shows a better than 50-50 chance of rain every day from Tuesday through Saturday.
