Update 5:07 p.m.:
All travel lanes are clear on Route 17 in York County.
Update 4:45 p.m.:
All northbound and southbound lanes of Route 17 were blocked while crews worked to clear a crash at Goosely Road, according to VDOT.
A detour is in place, according to VDOT.
The York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office said on its Facebook page that Route 17 is closed from Ft. Eustis Boulevard to Alexander Hamilton Boulevard in Yorktown and Goosely Road is closed between Old Williamsburg Road and Cook Road.
The Sheriff’s Office reported earlier on its Facebook page that Cook Road was closed due to a tractor-trailer running off the road that needed to be pulled out of a ditch.

A crash blocked all northbound lanes on Route 17 at its intersection with Goosley Road, near Yorktown Middle School, Wednesday just before 4 p.m., according to VDOT.
