UPDATE:
A 2004 Honda Accord was traveling westbound on I-64, ran off the roadway and struck a tree. The driver, Tramaine LaShawn Bethune, 32, of Henrico, died at the scene, according to a news release from the state police.
The accident occurred at approximately 7:40 p.m. Tuesday on Interstate 64 westbound, east of Barlow Road in York County.
Bethune was not wearing his seat belt at the time of the crash, state police said.
