PETA is offering $15 spay/neuter surgeries for dogs and cats in Hampton Roads during August and September.

The mobile clinic event will be held in Norfolk, Boykins, Cape Charles, Chesapeake, Hampton, Newport News, Suffolk, and a dozen other locations throughout southeastern Virginia.

Pet owners can have surgeries done by appointment at PETA’s Sam Simon Center at 501 Front St., in Norfolk, and other locations, according to a news release.

Appointments are required and can be made by calling PETA at (757) 622-PETA (7382), extension 3, or visiting PETA.org/SpayNeuterAppt.

Callers should mention the Bark-to-School offer, which is only available for surgeries performed in August and September.

For more information, visit PETA.org or PETA.org/SpayNeuter.

(The special does not include feral cats, who can be spayed/neutered, ear-tipped, tested, and vaccinated for $50.)
