Report: Two killed, one wounded in shooting on I-95

Two people were killed and one wounded early Sunday when shots were fired into a car on Interstate 95 in Richmond, The Richmond Times-Dispatch reports.

Virginia State Police said seven people were riding in a 2017 Nissan traveling north on I-95 about 3:45 a.m. Sunday when a car pulled alongside them and opened fire.

The driver of the Nissan, a man, died at the scene. A woman passenger was taken to VCU Medical Center, where she died some time later. A second man was wounded and was taken to VCU Medical Center with what police said were life-threatening injuries.

The car the shots were fired from is described as a later model, white four-door sedan. There was no description of the occupant or occupants.
