Two York High School students are accused of having a weapon on school property, according to the York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office.

On April 24, two teens, a boy and a girl, were in possession of a Taser at school. When a deputy tried to arrest them on charges, police say the girl tried to bite the deputy, and both resisted arrest.

The girl is charged with possession of a weapon on school property, assault and battery of a police officer and resisting arrest.

The boy is charged with possession of a weapon on school property and resisting arrest.

It was not clear Wednesday whether the students faced additional disciplinary action from the school.
