One person died Tuesday following a two-vehicle crash on Goodwin Neck Road in York County, according to Virginia State Police.
Tammy Christine Beaumont, 54, of the 600 block of Back Creek Road in Seaford, died after her car hit another car on Goodwin Neck Road, state police said.
Beaumont was driving eastbound in a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado pickup about 5:20 p.m. when she tried to pass a bicyclist, police said, by veering into the westbound lane, hitting a 2011 Chevrolet Express Van.
