As temperatures rise, melting most of the snow, the Hampton Roads district of VDOT has switched its focus to filling potholes, the state transportation agency said.
Crews repaired trouble spots on interstates and state-maintained primary and secondary roads as the region thaws from days of freezing weather, according to a news release.
To report potholes, call VDOT’s Customer Care Center at 1-800-FOR-ROAD (800-367-7623) or visit http://my.vdot.virginia.gov.
VDOT will continue to repair potholes on state-maintained roads as damage arises.
If the pothole is on a city street, please call the public works department for that locality.
