Jamestown Ferry service was back to normal after strong winds and high waves from a storm caused damage at the Scotland terminal in Surry County in November 1985. Workers for W.F. Magann Corp. had their work cut out as they prepared to right a barge tipped over in the storm. Almost completely submerged to the right of the barge is Capt. Mike a 50-foot tugboat belonging to Magann that sank in the storm.
