Laina and Gibbs are two shepherd mixes that I think should really stay together, because they are mother and son. Laina is 2 years old, so she is a very young mother. Her son, Gibbs, is 9 months old. What they have in common is even though they are both big, they are really sweet and gentle. First talking about Laina, she is 83 pounds and a pretty, rusty brown color. She is outgoing and loves to jump up and give "hugs" by putting her paws on your shoulders. As for Gibbs, he is a "gentle giant" and lighter-colored and taller than his mother, although he weighs about 20 pounds less now. The two don't bark a lot and are calm around the other dogs at Animal Aid. They came to the shelter not because they caused any problems, but because their family was moving and couldn't take them along. Anyone with a big yard and a big heart could definitely take them as companions and would never regret it!
