The York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office is investigating a robbery at Wallace’s Trading Post in York County.

The store, at 1851 Richmond Road in Williamsburg, was robbed by a man with a knife just before 9:15 p.m, according to Lt. Dennis Ivey.

Police are searching for a black man about 6 feet tall with an athletic build and a deep voice.

The robber was seen wearing a wearing a black mask, dark pants and black shirt, an official said.

He fled the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
