York-Poquoson deputies investigate theft of electronics from Walmart

Two people stole thousands of dollars’ worth of merchandise from a Walmart in York County, according to the York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies said the people took video games and tablets from the Walmart at 2601 George Washington Memorial Highway on Sept. 12. The theft occurred about 1:30 a.m., and deputies said it appeared the people used a key to unlock the electronics cases and remove the items.
