Michelle Anselmo
Reporter
A curious nature and a love of meeting new people drew KPLR-TV News reporter Michelle Anselmo into the field of journalism. She joined the station's newsroom in 2000 as the Weekend Assignment Desk Editor and Associate Producer. She began reporting full time in 2002. Recently, Michelle was honored with a community service award from the Maryland Heights Fire Department to show their gratitude for her dedication to reporting news stories with a focus on child safety.
Prior to signing on with CW 11, Michelle worked for PAX-TV in Mt. Vernon, IL. While there, she hosted and produced a weekly program, "St. Louis Views." She also was employed by KLOU-FM as Production Assistant and Weekly Host of "In Your Neighborhood, with Michelle Sullivan."
A St. Louis native, she attended Oakville High School, and is a graduate of both Meramec Community College and The Broadcast Center. Michelle is a student at Mississippi State University. She is pursuing her degree in Geosciences/Meteorology.
Michelle has served as a volunteer for Junior Achievement, and mostly enjoys spending time with her family. She and her husband, Mike, live in Fenton with their two sons.
You can watch Michelle Anselmo on CW 11 News weeknights at 9pm.
