Matt Gamewell

Matt Gamewell is a St. Louis native who joined CW11 News in July 2006 as a Reporter. Previously he worked as a Washington D.C. correspondent for 49 ABC News in Topeka. Matt began his career in radio working as a Sportscaster for the Missourinet, and an Anchor/Reporter for the Brownfield Network, both in Jefferson City. Before returning to St. Louis, Matt spent eight years in Chicago working in advertising sales for Chicago magazine, and most recently, Esquire. Matt received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Missouri, and a Master's in Broadcast Journalism from Northwestern. He and his wife Kate have a daughter.
