Shark Week at the Virginia Living Museum

Visitors can view shark-related items, take a photo in the Shark Week jaws, enjoy crafts and find a nurse shark in the Chesapeake Bay tank from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily from Sunday through July 2, when there will be special shark-themed events. Planetarium will show "Kaluoka'hina," about two fish who try to save their home by touching the moon, at 2:30 p.m. every day of Shark Week. Activities are included with museum admission. Funhouse Fest in Williamsburg

Williamsburg's own hit maker Bruce Hornsby curates and headlines Funhouse Fest with his band The Noisemakers. Festival takes place on the lawn of the Art Museums of Colonial Williamsburg Friday (gates open at 6 p.m.), Saturday and Sunday (gates open at 1 p.m. both days) and includes performances by bluegrass artists, singer-songwriters and more. Part of the Virginia Arts Festival. Single-day passes start at $29.95 for Friday, $39.95 for Saturday and Sunday, and go up to $100 each day. Three-day passes range from $99.75-$297.75. Hampton Jazz Festival

Gladys Knight, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, New Edition, Charlie Wilson and more take the stage at the Hampton Coliseum for the 49th annual Hampton Jazz Festival. Bayou Boogaloo Music and Cajun Food Festival in Norfolk

Enjoy live music, authentic cuisine from New Orleans, an arts market and more at the festival in downtown Norfolk's Town Point Park this weekend. "Heathers the Musical" in Norfolk
