NWS: Chance for rain on Virginia Peninsula Saturday morning

There's a chance for rain on the Virginia Peninsula Saturday morning.

The National Weather Service forecast calls for a 30 percent chance for rain before 1 p.m. Afterward, skies will be mostly cloudy with a high temperature near 51 degrees.

Temperatures overnight will dip to a low about 38 degrees.

Calm winds will become west about 6 mph in the afternoon, shifting to out of the northeast, about 5 to 7 mph after midnight.
