A way to help those who serve

The Virginia Gazette

Why don't each of us give just $1 dedicated to every family of the armed forces, police and other first responders that are killed or wounded? The money should be dedicated to these folks who save your country, state, county and city. That would be the least we should and could easily do for the families of the fallen and wounded. So maybe $3-4 per group?

We really need to respond to the need of these brave folks, many of whom work 2 jobs while others who have not served a day get $20,000 to $25,000 a year for just breathing. Even those folks could give $3-4 of their money to help the real heroes.
