District II of the Virginia Daughters of the American Revolution held its annual meeting Aug. 1, at the Petersburg Country Club. The Williamsburg Chapter had 12 members in attendance. District II Director Hilary Clare presented three awards to the Williamsburg Chapter, including Outstanding Accomplishments in attaining Chapter Achievement Award Level 1. The National Americanism Committee recognized the Williamsburg Chapter, VA, Eastern Division, for First Place Outstanding Activity, and the DAR Project Patriot Committee recognized the chapter for Support of DAR Project Patriot.
