The Rotary District 7600 and the Rotary Club of the Historic Triangle recently partnered to award a $5,500 grant to Dream Catchers at the Cori Sikich Therapeutic Riding Center. This grant funded both the purchase of equipment and additional arena footing to support the more than 120 therapeutic riding lessons provided weekly for children and adults with special needs. Numerous Rotarians volunteered to help spread this new arena footing in both their indoor and outdoor arenas as part of the Williamsburg area¿s United Way Day of Caring on Friday, Sept. 13. The partnership between The Rotary Club of the Historic Triangle and Dream Catchers demonstrates the Rotary motto, Service above Self.
