The Williamsburg Music Club's Wednesday, Oct. 16, program featuring Jacqueline Schwab will be held in Lewis Hall of Bruton Parish on Duke of Gloucester Street beginning at 11 a.m. preceded by coffee and conversation at 10 a.m. Schwab, the PBS American Series pianist, creates meditative and spirited arrangements on traditional and vintage tunes from Stephen Foster and Civil War song tunes from North and South, Victorian ballroom dance tunes, Scots and Irish songs and dance tunes brought over by settlers, hymns and spirituals, ragtime, Latin waltzes, tangos, Billie Holiday blues, contemporary-style Celtic and English traditional music.
