The Greater Williamsburg Chamber & Tourism Alliance is giving local business owners an opportunity to network among themselves during a Business After Hours series.

"It's a networking event that is open to members of the alliance and it is also open to the public. We do it at different host venues around the area," said Michelle Williams, director of business events at the Greater Williamsburg Chamber & Tourism Alliance.

The Business After Hour will take place from 5-7 p.m. on Feb. 21 at Ford's Colony, at 240 Fords Colony Drive.

"It's really open networking, it's more of a happy hour theme. There's beer and wine in addition to that we will have a set of announcements of all the things happening in the chamber and give away prizes," Williams said.

The Business After Hour series has become so popular that Williams said there is a year-long waiting list for venues to host.

Williams said about 85 people have already reserved spots; Business After Hours usually draw about 100 people. To RSVP visit williamsburgcc.com/events/business-after-hours-3 or call 229-6511.

The event is $10 for alliance members and $15 for non-members.
