Kind gestures gratefully acknowledged

Sometimes the nicest gestures deserve special recognition and this holiday season saw wonderful examples of those gestures. Warhill High School Wrestling Team and students "adopted" Colonial CASA children with their remarkably successful toy drive. Terrific toys, games, and books collected by the team, other students, and Warhill parents brought unexpected joy to the children we serve. The alumni chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority, organized by Susie Beck, brought clothes, food, and gift cards for two of our very special families. And the Bunko Group from the Landfall at Jamestown neighborhood donated cuddly teddy bears for each CASA child.

Christmas memories often last a life time. We are certain with the help of the Warhill Wrestling team, students and parents, the Theta alumni chapter, and the Landfall at Jamestown Bunko Group, our CASA children will remember this Christmas for a very, very long time. I send a sincere thank you to all of you on behalf of all of them.
