The county planning commission and board of supervisors will come together next Tuesday to outline priorities for the county.

"It's about having a conversation between the planning commission and board of supervisors and trying to understand out of all those work items what is a priority for the board," said county planning director Paul Holt.

The planners and supervisors will meet on May 23 for the joint work session.

Some of the items that will be discussed include location standards for short-term rental homes like Airbnb, on-site traffic and pedestrian/ bicycle improvements and updating zoning ordinances.

Jefferson can be reached by phone at 757-790-9313.
