A James City County woman who had been reported missing earlier this week was found safe Friday morning in West Point, according to James City County deputy police chief Stephen Rubino.
Jessica Marie Cox, reportedly five months pregnant, had failed to arrive at a scheduled appointment and had not been heard from since Tuesday, Rubino said.
A James City County woman has gone missing, and police seek the public’s help in finding her.
Jessica Marie Cox, 31, was last heard from around 8 a.m. Monday, when a family member had last communicated with her, according to a James City County Police news release.
Cox did not show up for an appointment Monday, as scheduled, and her phone went to voice mail, according to the news release, and when police went to Cox’s home to check on her, neither she nor her car were there.
Cox is described as 5-feet-1 inch, 115 pounds and has blonde hair and green eyes, according to police, and she may be traveling in a 1996 green Honda Civic with Virginia license plate TRRTL3.
