Kiplinger names William and Mary among best college investments

Kiplinger, a media outlet that publishes finance advice and business forecasts, ranked William and Mary amongst the best schools in the nationin terms of financial value.

The college ranked fourth for in-state students, and sixth for out-of-state students.

Students' average debt at graduation, the four-year graduation rate, and the admittance rate were among the metrics Kiplinger used.

The University of Virginia, considered the most direct competition to William and Mary, finished second in the nation for both in-state and out-of-state students.
