Acoustic Lunch with Guitarist Louis Vangieri: Vangieri’s blend of acoustic music covers and original songs highlight the influence of the Beatles, James Taylor and Pat Metheny. 1-2:30 p.m. on Sunday at the William and Mary Bookstore’s cafe. Free.

Third Members’ Co-op Art Show: The Williamsburg Contemporary Art Center’s latest exhibit features artists with larger bodies of work across a variety of styles and media, including watercolor, paper mache, textiles and more. Into the Modern Era: World War I’s Effect on Art, Tech and Lit: Historical fiction author Jeffrey K. Walker will use his research to lead a discussion focused on how the Great War helped usher the world into the modern era. 2 p.m. on Wednesday at Williamsburg Regional Library’s Stryker Center, 412 N. Boundary St. Free.

Brass Cannon Beer Dinner: The brewery is teaming up with Poor Boys Burgers to offer a four-course meal, each served with its own special beer. The menu includes a pear salad, chicken tacos, glazed pork chops and stout cake. 6-9 p.m. on Sunday at Brass Cannon Brewery, 5476 Mooretown Road. Tickets are $40 and can be purchased at the brewery or by phone at 566-0001.

Summer Fireworks at Busch Gardens: As summer’s end draws near, go out with a bang thanks to the theme park’s final fireworks celebration. 9:45 p.m. on Friday at Busch Gardens. Included with park admission.

“The Egypt Play”: Panglossian Productions’ latest production tackles prejudice and preconceptions with a surreal brand of dark comedy that follows a British mother-daughter duo traveling through 1880s Egypt. The play is an original work written by Panglossian co-founder and co-artistic director Tori Keenan-Zelt. 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, 2 p.m. Sunday at Williamsburg Regional Library. Tickets are $16 in advance, $18 at the door and $10 for students with a valid ID; available at panglossian.org.
