Williamsburg Police seized approximately 14 pounds of marijuana and more than $10,000 in cash Friday from a Battery Boulevard residence.
According to a Williamsburg Police news release, officers responded due to a domestic disturbance, and spoke upon arrival to a couple who had been in a verbal argument.
Officers interviewed Coshaun Bryant, 31, who provided false information regarding his identification.
While attempting to confirm Bryant’s identity, officers discovered a suitcase with large amounts of marijuana and other narcotics in his possession.
Bryant, who had outstanding warrants in New York, was arrested and charged with one count of providing a false ID to law enforcement, one count of possession with intent to distribute marijuana, two counts of possession of schedule 2 narcotics, and two counts of possession of schedule 4 narcotics.
