Visitors to the Continental Army encampment area of the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown will be able to sit in a 250-seat amphitheater and feature a variety of artillery pieces representing the types of guns used at the 1781 Siege of Yorktown. They will also have opportunities to receive hands-on how to operate an artillery piece and to observe it being fired. Sally Stook, a supervisor in the recreated Continental Army encampment at the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown, provided visitors a taste of life as a soldier, from enlistment to the firing of a cannon.
