Yorktown Art Stroll showcases imagination

The Yorktown Art Stroll gives locals a chance to tour the imagination of artists in the Williamsburg area.

With the Riverwalk Landing serving as the backdrop, guests can not only look at top notch art but also can check out shops in the area. The stroll features various types of art including oil, acrylic and watercolor paintings, glass, drawings, photography, jewelry, pottery, painted furniture, fiber art, handmade soap and wood work.

The art stroll will take place from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sept. 24 at the Freight Shed, 331 Water St. and it is free and open to the public. For more information, call 757-369-1108 or visit bit.ly/2taqlTF.
