Report: James City County girl returns home safe after being reported missing

A 17-year old James City County girl who had been missing for about a week returned home safe Sunday evening, according to the AWARE Foundation.

The AWARE Foundation, a national non-profit that works to help find missing people, reported that Olivia Dale had made contact with her mother Sunday and returned home safe soon after.

Police are looking for a missing 17-year old James City County girl who was last seen March 5 in Williamsburg.

Olivia Dale is 5-foot-5 inches tall, weighs 113 pounds and has aqua blue hair, blue eyes was last seen in Williamsburg wearing light colored jeans with holes, a gray long-sleeve crop top sweater, white Nike high-top shoes and had a black North Face jacket with her, according to James City County Police.

Dale suffers from anxiety, depression and asthma and does not have her medications with her, James City County Police said, and she is believed to be with her boyfriend, who lives in the Hampton area but frequently visits Williamsburg.

Anyone knowing Olivia Dale’s whereabouts should contact James City County Police at 566-4310 or call 911, and reference case number 18000723.
