NASA releases new photos of Antares rocket explosion off Virginia coast

In Oct. 2014, the unmanned Antares rocket that exploded off the coast of Virginia was deliberately destroyed after it became apparent there was a problem, Orbital Sciences Corporation said.

According to the Virginian-Pilot, NASA recently released photos from the explosion last year of an Antares rocket during liftoff from the Mid-Atlantic Regional Spaceport on Wallops Island.
