- Sag Harbor Fire Department, state's oldest volunteer company, offers an 1833 building that was a school, village hall and then a firehouse from 1896 to 1976. See equipment from the 19th century, a Model T chief's truck and a mural on big local fires. Museum is 25 years old in 2004.
- Open 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Mon.-Sat., 1-5 p.m. Sun., May 13-Sept. 30 and some weekends in Octo-ber; 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Wed., July and August, and by appointment.
- Fee: $5 adults, $4 students and seniors; free children 12 and younger. Memorabilia recalls Sag Harbor as a world whaling capital.

- This 1700s house has paintings by artist Annie Cooper Boyd; summer exhibition. It houses the Sag Harbor Historical Society and a research library.
- Hours: 10 a.m.-5 p.m. weekends Memorial Day-June and Labor Day-Columbus Day; 10 a.m.-5 p.m. daily July and August; groups by appointment.
- Fee: $3 adults, $1.50 ages 7-14 and seniors.
- In 1789, Sag Harbor was the first U.S. port of entry. Museum is in the home of the port's first U.S. customs master.

- Built in 1916, two-room jail has police memorabilia from America and Europe.
