What's the story: Diaz and Kutcher are strangers to each other on a Vegas vacation. But not for long. They get drunk, get married and share a $3-million slot machine score that he won with her quarter. So now, if they want to keep the money, they're going to have to get to know each other better. Yikes!
What's the big deal: There are really only two questions to be answered here: 1) Can a by-the-numbers romantic comedy provide suitable counterprogramming to the flash and filigree of "Speed Racer” and 2) Does Diaz still have enough sparkle in her persona to carry a movie like this?
