Tactical range needs a 'no' vote

The Curtis Security Consulting Inc. proposal before the New Kent County Planning Commission and Board of Supervisors does not conform to the New Kent County Code, Article XIX, Section 98. The proposal should be denied.

Marlene Jack's Letter to the Editor, published July 4, states the problems this proposal presents for the residents of Barhamsville and the surrounding area. This business would have a damaging impact on residents that far outweighs any interest in profit by Curtis Security Consulting Inc.

Jack clearly presents the damage this business venture will have on residents. Any reasonable person will have to agree with her. As she writes, “The New Kent County Planning Commission and Board of Supervisors need to protect the residents and vote against the Curtis Cup-02.18 proposal.”
