Cordasco capable, ready for General Assembly seat

The American condition has come to a state where, too often, the best, most capable among us do not present themselves for elective office, and American voters willfully elect some of the worst who do. We can do better.

Heather Cordasco seeks the 93rd District seat in the state House of Delegates. Her election will give us a most capable and most committed representative for our district and for the Commonwealth.

Heather Cordasco served on the Williamsburg-James City County School Board from 2012-2015. As chair of the 21st Century Career Readiness Committee, and given her strong interest in career options for students, Heather encouraged the Association for Manufacturing Excellence to adopt the Williamsburg-James City County school system. As a result, students now have the opportunity to explore careers in advanced manufacturing during Manufacturing Day. This led to closer relationships with county industries and to local jobs for W-JCC students. She also served on the Special Education Advisory Committee and the New Horizons Board.

Heather was appointed to the Regional Issues Committee for the Historic Triangle in 2012 and serves on the Education Committee of the Greater Williamsburg Chamber. She is a member of the local Red Cross board and she has been President of Network Peninsula.

Heather's community service is exemplary, as is her character, perhaps best defined by her donation of a kidney to a friend — the gift of life. Please join me and vote for Heather.
