Vote Gillespie, Vogel and Adams for the truth

I find cheap amusement in reading the Letters page in the paper. Let's dissect this recent one.

"A nonpartisan group of concerned, committed voters has ‘fact-checked’ Gillespie, Vogel, Adams — GVA — assertions and allegations against Northam, Fairfax, Herring — NFH — and found them and their contentions appear to be false, fake, libelous, unethical, slanderous, self-protecting and dishonest."

Talk about oxymoron. What is the name of this group? And how can it be labeled as "nonpartisan"? I've just created my own "non-partisan" group called I Like Mike. My group says just the opposite is true. My group has fact-checked the three running for governor, lieutenant governor and attorney general and says they are dishonest, slanderous, libelous, you get the idea. My group is going to mirror the other group's charges.

"At no other time have so few mounted such vicious and vitriolic attacks upon so many good people who are committed to the common good and the beloved community."

So every other political campaign from the past is forgotten. Maybe they haven't seen the attack ads in this current campaign?

"The Commonwealth of Virginia needs and deserves Ralph Northam for governor, Justin Fairfax for lieutenant governor and Mark Herring for attorney general as our trustworthy, ethical and law-focused team to lead us forward."

We do not need these three, and if you do vote them in, you deserve what you get: Higher taxes, unsafe communities, government funded nanny state entitlement programs and more.

Vote Gillespie, Vogel, and Adams.
