Ease your wedding day jitters and do some last-minute toning with these wedding day yoga moves created by Patricia Friberg, a fitness instructor, mental health counselor and creator of the "Belly Beautiful Workout" DVD. Not getting married? It works for the bridal party too.
Reclining big toe pose: Lying on your back with both feet flexed, extend one leg toward the ceiling while the other is heavy on the floor. Loop a strap or towel around the extended leg, and use it to bring that leg across the midline of your body. Repeat on the other side.
Warrior 2: Standing with your arms and legs spread wide, turn your back foot's toes in slightly and your front leg out. (Align front heel with back foot's arch.) Bend your front knee (center of the knee in line with your third toe). Reach long from both arms, and gaze forward over your front fingers. Repeat twice on each side.
Triangle pose: Start with your legs and arms wide (wrists over ankles), toes of back foot turned in slightly and front thigh rotated out 90 degrees. (Align your front heel with your back foot's arch.) Hinge your hips to the side and to the back of the mat as you reach your front hand forward, lengthening as you gently place your hand on your shin, rotating your bottom ribs up. Turn your head to look up.
Boat pose: Seated, balanced on the back of your bottom, straighten your legs out on the diagonal. Reach your arms forward, palms facing up while keeping your chest lifted. Hold for five breaths and repeat twice.
Simple twist: Lying on your back, bend your knees at 90 degrees and allow them to drop to one side while your arms are outstretched, palms up. Think about drawing your top hip down, away from your rib cage before switching sides.
