2004 year in review
For the most part, 2004 was historically monumental and saw many life-changing events. But that's not what the following overview is about.
It's about Desperate Housewives sleaze and the Virgin Mary grilled cheese. It's about whether Tigger's molesting and how much Mary-Kate Olsen is digesting. It's about pimp juices and lip-synching excuses. It's about fashion malfunctions and family dysfunction. It's about Adriana getting whacked and Dr. Dre getting jacked. It's about Ricky Williams' saga and Britney Spears' drama. It's about The OC and Ali G. It's about watching hurricanes and praying over voting machines. It's
It's best to stop there. Anyway, like it or not, these events define who we've become. Maybe in a hundred years, our civilization will no longer dwell on the trivial, but right now, trivial is what we are. So let's take a look at what kept us going through 2004 and embrace it. Hang on to your dignity, here goes.
