Keith Letourneau gets a little carried away when it comes to his Ravens.
OK, maybe "a little carried away" doesn’t quite do justice to Letourneau's crazed, high-decibel reaction to the Ravens' playoff victory over the Denver Broncos Saturday -- reactions that his wife, Rachel, dutifully recorded on video and posted online via Youtube.
You can see the three videos -- one made when the Ravens tied the score at 28-28, one when they tied the score at 35-35 with just over a minute left in the game, one made as Justin Tucker was kicking the winning field goal in overtime -- here.
But please, be sure to turn the volume down on your computer before you do.
"Something happens when he gets to the playoffs," Rachel Letourneau says from her Bel Air home, by way of explaining her husband's loss of control.
Yeah, his reaction is a bit over-the-top, Keith Letourneau confesses. But it's genuine.
"I'm very passionate when I watch a game," he says, aware that he's woefully understating the case. "It doesn't matter if I'm home or at a bar with friends or even at the stadium. I'm just one of those fans who screams and yells and just wants to have a good time."
Indeed he is. One shudders to think what will happen when the Ravens win the Super Bowl.
Our advice: Ear plugs.
