Bruton 81, New Kent 58: The Panthers, tuning up for the Group 2A playoffs, rolled to a victory to stay one game behind Grafton in the Bay Rivers.
Tabb 64, Jamestown 53: Terrell Sheffey poured in 24 points as the Tigers gained a road win.
Antwuan Hicks added 14 points for the Tigers.
Connor Swain and Mason Wang led the Eagles (8-11) with 12 points apiece.
Brunswick 64, Surry County 58: The Bulldogs beat the Cougars in a Tri-Rivers District contest in Dendron despite Justin Williams’ 20 points.
Marshall King led Brunswick with 18, while Daylan Owens and Devante Smith had 15 apiece.
Surry received 13 points from Eric Whitlow and 10 from Michael Harris.
Isle of Wight Academy 66, Kenston Forest 59: The struggling Chargers gained a victory behind Bryce Casey’s 24 points and Adam Webb’s 16.
