Five W&M baseball players earn All-CAA honors; Tribe faces Elon in tourney

The William and Mary baseball team put five players on the All-Colonial Athletic Association Team.

Junior Cullen Large highlighted the Tribe's postseason awards with an All-CAA first team nod. Freshman Brandon Raquet made the All-Rookie team, and a spot on the second team. Senior Ryder Miconi was a third-teamer while junior Ryan Hall also made the third team.

Freshman Patrick Ryan grabbed All-Rookie accolades.

UNC Wilmington senior outfielder Casey Golden was named the CAA Baseball Player of the Year, while Seahawks' sophomore right-hander Alex Royalty received CAA Pitcher of the Year honors.

William and Mary earned the No. 6 seed in the league tournament and will meet No. 6 Elon Wednesday in Wilmington, N.C. The winner gets second-seeded UNC-W.

Top-seeded Northeastern awaits the winner of No. 4 Delaware-No. 5 College of Charleston.
