William and Mary senior left tackle Chris Durant was selected to the STATS FCS Preseason All-America Third Team.
Durant is a two-time All-Colonial Athletic Association honoree and recently garnered preseason all-conference distinction at the league's media day event.
Durant has not missed a start during each of the last two seasons and helped William and Mary produce a 1,000-yard rusher each of the last three seasons.
William and Mary head coach Jimmye Laycock announced the hiring of Holman Copeland as the team's cornerbacks coach.
Copeland previously served as an assistant at Central Connecticut State where he served as the outside linebackers coach and recruiting coordinator.
Prior to being hired by CCSU, Copeland worked as a graduate assistant at the University of Buffalo for two seasons (2012-13), helping mentor and develop NFL first-round selection Khalil Mack of the Oakland Raiders.
