Top-ranked Trojans open TCIS play with win

Solvi Bjornsson continued his scorching start Thursday in Walsingham Academy's 7-0 boys soccer win over Peninsula Catholic to open TCIS play.

Bjornsson scored five goals, bringing his season tally to 33, as the Trojans improved to 9-0-3.

Johannes Frohlich scored the other two for Walsingham, the top-ranked side in VISAA Division 2.

Joshua Addo had two assists for the Trojans and Bjornsson and Kelau Smith each added one.

Bryce Behm had the clean sheet plus three saves.
