Tribe men's basketball schedule includes pair of ACC road trips

The William and Mary nonconference men's basketball schedule will include matchups against a pair of national-power ACC schools.

The Tribe, 20-11 last season, will visit both Louisville and Duke prior to CAA play. W&M will visit Louisville Nov. 14 and Duke Nov. 23.

The W&M-Louisville matchup will be the schools' first since 1952 while Duke owns a 27-3 all-time make against the Tribe, with the last meeting coming in 2000.

W&M has three ACC road wins under coach Tony Shaver in the last eight years including last year's season-opening victory at N.C. State.

W&M will open the season at home against Division III Bridgewater College and the nonconference slate also features home games against Presbyterian, Liberty, the NAIA's Milligan College of Tennessee, and Savannah State. In addition to Louisville and Duke, the nonconference slate includes matches at Central Michigan, Hampton, Rhode Island, and Old Dominion.
