Tribe moves up to 12 in national football polls; Anderson CAA Offensive Player of the Week

William and Mary junior tailback Kendell Anderson has been named the Colonial Athletic Association Offensive Player of the Week after a 44-41 win Saturday over James Madison for the Tribe, which moved up to No. 12 in each of the national polls Monday.

William and Mary (6-2) moved up four spots in the STATS FCS poll and three in the coaches poll.

Anderson rushed for 138 yards and three touchdowns Saturday and scored the go-ahead touchdown from 2 yards late in the fourth quarter.
